Cardboard progress
I've pretty much been spending countless hours rolling cardboard in an angled fashion and gluing them together. Only near the top have I had much of a problem with the form, as it is now much harder to keep them glued together, and in the proper shape. My biggest concern now, is taking thin pieces of cardboard, and gluing them to thicker, formed pieces of cardboard, to make a larger, more complex form to be the top of the shell

It took me a couple minutes to try and come up with a starting point for the assignment. I ran many scenarios through my head and most were shot down by me thinking that the structure wouldn't be stable. I came up with many ideas that would theoretically hold the weight, but always hit a wall with stability. I started folding, knowing that if I pressed the paper together thick enough it could easily hold the weight, and planned to tackle the stability issue later as a formed shapes. I wanted to make a 1x2 base out of the rectangular boxes I made after countless folds and pressing. Eventually I found that I ran out of paper and time, and had to settle on stacking the 3 pieces I had on their side, rather than 4 pieces stacked upward
